# Abacus

> Abacus is a Canadian software development agency in Calgary, Alberta. It helps businesses plan, build, improve, and maintain custom software and AI-powered solutions, without having to build or manage a complete internal development team.

Founded and led by Richard Maurice, a software engineer and AI solutions architect with more than 20 years of experience. Abacus works with established businesses that have outgrown manual processes, organizations adopting AI and automation, and SaaS founders and product owners.
